Wood waste brought into Fife Sand & Gravel facilities are recycled and reused.  We can accept wood waste from downed trees, prunings in your yard, and also lumber, unpainted wood, particle board, and some laminate covered wood.  These are then ground up, the sawdust separated out for topsoil production, then the large chips hauled off to use as hog fuel.  Nothing goes to waste!  Please note exclusions: blackberry bushes, ivy, grass clippings, rocks and dirt mixed with wood waste, painted wood, treated wood, stained wood, large nuts/bolts/screws, and other garbage.  Nails in the wood are OK
